My Beginnings in Encaustics

 
"Beautiful Truth", Encaustic on Board with Mixed media, 9 x 12
 This is my first attempt with the medium of Encaustics.  It is a wax based pigment that must be heated and fused.  I actually have no idea what I am doing, but had great fun trying it out.
